Wellcome Trust Mental Health Grant: Accelerating Scalable Digital Mental Health Interventions

Funding Amount: £3 to £7 million per project

Duration: Up to 5 years

Key Dates: Full application deadline: December 5, 2024

Objective: This grant aims to fund projects advancing our understanding of the biological, psychological, and/or social mechanisms by which heat impacts anxiety, depression, and psychosis in the most affected global populations. The Wellcome Trust seeks research teams with expertise in digital interventions targeting symptom reduction and/or functional impairments related to anxiety, depression, or psychosis. Teams must already have a minimum viable product and feasibility data for their intervention.

Important Considerations:

• Teams must include experts with lived experience.
• The administering organizations can be based globally, except in mainland China.
• Co-applicants are welcome.
