SNC Neuroconnexions – Join us for a friendly evening of science!

REGISTER BY NOVEMBER 12: Eventbrite - Neuroconnexions

The Neural Signaling and Circuitry Research Group (SNC) at the University of Montreal, led by Matthieu Vanni, Andrea Green, and Ravi Rungta, is hosting the third edition of the Neuroconnexions event! This is an excellent opportunity for members of the neuroscience community to share and discuss their research in a relaxed atmosphere.

What is Neuroconnexions?

Neuroconnexions allows researchers to present scientific posters they prepared for the Society for Neuroscience (SFN) conference or other recent conferences. This event is also an ideal opportunity for undergraduate interns to showcase their research findings. It provides a valuable space for scientific discussions among colleagues, students, and postdoctoral fellows from the SNC.

Why Participate?

  • Boost your CV: The best presentations will receive awards in partnership with the Centre Interdisciplinaire de Recherche en Comportement et Apprentissage (CIRCA).
  • Networking: A unique chance to connect and exchange ideas with other researchers from the University of Montreal.
  • Relaxed Environment: Food and drinks will be served.

Note: For labs affiliated with CIRCA, please add the SNC and CIRCA logos to your posters to be eligible for awards. If the logos are not already on your posters, you can stick them on afterward.

How to Get Involved?

This event also relies on community support. We are looking for:

  • Student volunteers to help with event logistics.
  • Judges among professors, research associates, postdocs, and PhD students.

If you’re interested in helping out, please contact Matthieu Vanni at: matthieu.vanni@umontreal.ca

Join us on November 19 for an evening of science, networking, and collaboration!
